Great Places To Snowboard

The world of snowboarding is a precise sport that needs the exact conditions to do it aptly. We know that snow is one of them. There are 3 primary aspects of snowboarding (besides skill) that is required in order for it to be effective. Piste is a ski run with hard packed snow; Powder is fine and light snow considered best for skiing and Park specific snowboards are boards designed for freestyle riding in adapted terrain parks. This board is used by the majority, because of its twin tipped design. The nose and tail are identical, enabling superior switch riding.

After considerable research, here is a list that many consider to be some of the best places in the world for snowboarding:

Val d’Isere is known as one of the magnificent snowboarding resorts in France. It has a great deal of latitude, and its been that “it would take 5-7 days to cover all of the runs and trails”.

Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada has been rated as the No.1 resort in North America. Its noted as an “allurement for all aptitude levels”.

Vail, USA is noted as being a very high-priced resort. To compensate for expense it has a huge amount of terrain and a positive attitude towards snowboard enthusiasts.

Davos, Switzerland has an immense pisted area with a superb free riding lay out.

Mount Bachelor, USA is fantastic resort for free riders, and ideal for all snow board lovers.

St. Anton, Austria is known for having some the best terrain in Europe. Its also sought-after by snow boarding free riders everywhere.
